DOT Releases Urban EV Technical Resource Document

Facilitates the installation of federally-funded charging stations.

The Department of Transportation (DOT) recently published a free technical resource guide for urban communities looking to install electric vehicle (EV) charging stations with federal funding. This guidebook is a follow-up to the department’s Rural EV toolkit that was published last year, which has so far been well-received by rural communities.

“Under President Biden’s leadership, we’re creating a generation of good-paying jobs – many of which don’t require a four-year degree – building a nationwide network of EV chargers,” said Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg. “This toolkit will help all communities, big and small, bring EV charging to their residents, which will lower costs for drivers, create jobs, and reduce pollution.”

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For U.S. transportation officials as they support the installation of electric vehicle charging stations.
  • For communities to make efficient and effective use of the funding they receive for infrastructure.
